I haven't posted in this journal in a while... I keep forgetting about it. I usually only use this one for one of my communities, Other than that, most of my stuff goes into the other journal. However, I figured I'd take some time to make this one useful!
A few days ago I watched Flushed Away, which, for a kids movie, was pretty cool. Although I see why it was rated PG and not G. There were a few things that were not for 3 and 4 year olds in it, but it was neat. Although I wasn't fully paying attention to it, I can't remember but I think I was text messaging my man at the time. Either that or I was playing DS.
Two nights ago I watched White Christmas, as I usually start watching Christmas movies on July 12th, I did again this year. Last night when I was waiting for David to call to be picked up from a birthday party he was at I put on Christmas Eve on Sesame Street and ended up drifting off part way through it. I have the end of it playing now LOL. Watching Christmas movies in the summer makes me cool off too, it's weird but they do.
So last weekend, I went to Susan's place... Kim was already there and Janice came shortly after. When I got there, Kim and Susan were just finishing watching The Princess Bride, which is probably one of Susan's favorite movies. It was funny cause Kim and I were trying to figure out where we had seen the guy that plays Inigo Montoya, (one in the center with the moustache) before. Both of us were stunned... but it seemed like at the very same moment, we were both like "he's the guy from Dead Like Me!!" (for anyone who watches the show, he plays Rube, the guy who passes out the post-it notes). Anyway, after that, we put in Dazed and Confused, which I've watched several times before but not in a long time, and since the last time I've watched it I know more of the characters in it. I didn't realize Matthew McConaughey was in it, or Anthony Rapp (plays Mark in RENT!). I knew Ben Affleck was in it, I knew who he was back when I first watched it. But people like Jason London (whose twin brother Jeremy played T.S. on Mallrats), Joey Lauren Adams (plays Alyssa-the main character from Chasing Amy), Rory Cochrane (played Lucas on Empire Records and plays Tim on CSI: Miami), Adam Goldberg (who I remember most from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days), and Parker Posey (plays Fiona on Josie and the Pussycats). It's full of people who wern't really famous then but are now really famous, which is so cool! Anyway, so that's what's going on. I'm gonna go play some Wii!

okay so I've been neglecting this journal lately. I've found myself being pretty busy lately and forgetting about this journal. I don't mean to, that's for sure.
So I watched The Queen last night. Wow it makes Her Majesty look really cold-hearted. I like how it was done though. Helen Mirren played an amazing part. One thing I noticed is that she didn't walk like royalty. Stupid observation, I know, but an observation none the less. I also have Night at the Museum home. Hopefully I'll watch that tomorrow. I watched Freedom Writers last week, well most of it. It was great. To think that a teacher actually did that, pretty big stuff.
One of my new favs has to be the Pursuit of Happyness. Will Smith and his son were amazing. And a cameo by the real Chris Gardner was pretty neat, too.
Anyway so I'm gonna go get a shower, get ready for work and not tell my supervisor off tonight.

Disorder in the Court These are from a book called "Disorder in the American Courts", and are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters who had the torment of staying calm while these exchanges were actually taking place.

So I watched The Illusionist last night and OMG I loved it. What a movie! I can not wait for it to become previously played at work because I'm buying it. It has to be in my collection.
This past weekend I got a chance to watch Marie Antoinette which was a nice period movie mixed with a some modern day songs. Other than that it was really good. The only thing I noticed that kinda bugged me was the lack of accent for the most part. I was expecting more old english or at least English accent but I didn't find it too prevelant. Maybe it was done that way to give it a modern edge? The music did enough of that for me. Anyway... great movie all in all.
Infamous... wow. I could not keep my eyes off the screen for that. Now I'm so interested to see Capote which I never did watch but have wanted to for a while now. I think I'll take it home next week since I already have 10 rentals this week.
I also was able to watch about 45 minutes of Man about Town from this week's releases, and mom got to watch Raising Genius and she said it was pretty good. Oh and I only watched the first like half hour of Half Nelson... don't know if I'll end up re-renting it and watching the whole thing.
So once I finish watching the tape of last night's Survivor, I'm going to finish watching (or at least get further into) An Inconvenient Truth which I started before work today and got about 15 minutes into. It looks interesting and I didn't want to turn it off but I had to leave.
Anyway, that's about it.
In case you didn't realize, seeing the colour of my journal entries and the fact that the links don't stand out... don't forget to roll your mouse over certain words (usually movie or TV titles) for a link to either the official site or IMDB.com listing, or similar site for more info, trailers, etc.
Oh and I did have a couple quizzes I've been meaning to do and post but the days I had scheduled off this week I was w

I realized I haven't updated here in quite a while. This week has been a very busy one for me. I did, however get a chance to watch Take The Lead the other day and I loved it! I started watching Half Nelson last night but I didn't get through the whole thing. I was kinda confused and tired so I turned it off. Last night I brought home 7 of the new releases for this week. I probably won't get to watch them all but I have them here as an option. I'm gonna watch one or two after work tonight and I'll do some catching up on movies this weekend.
Other than work, basketball, and a really sore back I haven't had much to say in either journals.
Work in a half hour :(

So somehow the HTML on my last two posts got a little messed up but nothing too major. I plan on spamming this journal with some quizzes within the next two days so be prepared.
In the meantime, I wanted to share my latest movie adventure. I took home Open Season from work the other night because I'm special and get to watch movies before they are released in stores.... anyway. OMG was it ever cute. Not the best animated film I've ever seen, but definately worth watching. Of course, I was half asleep while watching it so that didn't help me at all.
Recently I've also watched Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, Step Up (watch the trailer here), and I started watching The Last Kiss, which I've actually heard bad reviews on. I'm only 45 minutes into it, and it's an okay movie but definately not my favorite. I'll let you know how it is when I watch the whole thing.
My new obsession is Channing Tatum who was not only a hottie in Step Up, but also in She's The Man. mmmmm mmmmmm goood :D Man is he hot.
Alrightie-off to do some stuff around the house.

Hello everyone and welcome to my new journal. I created this journal to house the non-essential and non-important things. Quizzes, funny stuff I read, maybe even some movie/book reviews. I guess whatever the mood strikes me. Anything personal will be kept in my regular journal in friends-only mode.
I decided that since Tinkerbell is my other favorite Disney character, that I would make this journal all her. I did go ahead and do the step up from a basic account so I could get more userpics on here. So, deal with the ads on here. My other journal is staying the way it is. 6 user icons I'll have to deal with.
Alright. Going to explore the wide world of journal styles and see how I want this one. Maybe I'll come up with a nice new layout for Eeyore? Possibly.
Later!
